Bennitt Perelstine, MSW, RCSWI

Primary Therapist

Bennitt has worked in the mental health field since 2017.  He graduated with his Masters of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in May of 2022.  He was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where he graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.  Bennitt began working as a mental health technician in a psychiatric center and has worked as a case manager for a non-profit organization.  He has been working in the field of addiction since 2020 when he started as an intern at a treatment center.  Bennitt is passionate about helping the LGBTQ community.  He is motivated by his personal experiences and works hard to make sure his clients receive the care and guidance they need.  Bennitt predominately uses a strength-based approach and psychodynamic theory to help his clients work through past trauma and discover the root causes for the issues they face.
