Grace Frehner, MSW

Primary Therapist

 Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

In addition to being a member of Wellness Resource Center’s clinical team, Grace Frehner is also an alumnus who participated in the program in 2014. Grace is grateful to Wellness Resource Center, and after receiving a second chance at life, she devoted her time and energy to obtaining an education so that she could help those who are still suffering from addiction and mental health concerns.

Grace earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her master’s degree in social work at Florida Atlantic University and graduated in May 2021. Most recently, she became licensed in the state of Florida, as a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. Previously, Grace was a student intern for a local domestic violence shelter through the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She has assisted countless women in need of support and helped them connect with desperately needed services. Grace was also a volunteer for the Guardian ad Litem program for Palm Beach County, Florida, where she has served as an advocate for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Grace completed her MSW internship at Palm Beach County Victim Services, where she assisted victims of violent crimes by providing counseling services.

Grace’s primary clinical interests include women’s issues, trauma resolution, and family dynamics. Grace uses a client-centered approach, with an emphasis on connection, empathy, and client empowerment.
