Maricay O’Shea, MS

Primary Therapist

Maricay is a native to South Florida, born and raised in Broward County.  Maricay earned her Bachelor’s in Education from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Substance Use from Purdue Global University.

After working as an elementary and middle school teacher for 12 years, Maricay’s personal experience with recovery motivated her to pursue a clinical path to help those struggling with substance use and mental health conditions. Maricay utilizes evidenced-based clinical modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Counseling to help those struggling with mental health conditions, substance use, grief and loss, and anxiety disorders.  Maricay uses an empathetic approach with her clients and tailors each individual’s treatment plan to meet their specific needs.
