Olivia Nieves, LMHC

Clinical Director

As an LPC, LMHC, and registered yoga instructor, Olivia’s passion for fostering a healthy mind- body connection has been mirrored through her clinical work. Her professional experience as a clinician and in leadership has been working with dual diagnosis clients in the inpatient psychiatric, private practice, and the educational sectors. This variety has aided in understanding the clinical, community, and stakeholder supports needed for clients to succeed at the all levels of care. Since relocating to South Florida, Olivia has worked in the nonprofit sector, developing clinical protocol for organizations to maintain licensure with DCF, and DJJ funding sources, developing community partnerships, as well as clinically supporting a team of therapists working with a population experiencing pervasive trauma. Olivia has also enjoyed her role as an adjunct psychology professor at a local university in Miami.

During her time with Wellness Resource Center, Olivia plans to develop protocol and clinical supports that allow Wellness to continue to be the name and organization the community trusts. The strengths of clinical programming will allow the community members to feel confident in the services provided, and clients to successfully engage in all levels of comprehensive care.

Olivia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bloomsburg University, and her Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Messiah University.

Olivia is dually licensed in both Pennsylvania and Florida, and specializes in working with the complex trauma population. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her puppy, being active,  and traveling with loved ones.
