Trina Holliday, MS, CAP

Primary Therapist

Evening Trina is no stranger to the behavioral health field, having spent 13 years working as a Behavioral Health Technician, Intake Assessment Coordinator, and Clinical Case Manager. Her passions and interests continued to grow as she became a Primary Therapist for Mental Health and Substance Abuse. She has also worked as a Primary Therapist for Veterans suffering from PTSD. Trina believes in approaching therapy from an empathetic, unconditional positive regard and congruent standpoint to empower individuals with substance abuse and mental illness and their families to lead fulfilling, independent lives. Trina finds great pleasure in building resilience in individuals by having great communication skills and a strong desire to help others by providing individual, group, family, and couple therapy.

Trina’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the National University in San Diego and a Masters in Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix. She obtained a Certified Addiction Professional and Clinical Trauma Professional certification in Florida. Trina is also a Gulf War Veteran, where she served in the United States Navy.

Trina’s experience in the substance abuse and mental health field has been in addiction treatment, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Trina is more than qualified to help her clients treat symptoms affecting their mind and body. Trina knows that mental health illness and addiction do not discriminate. She wants to educate people about those diseases and advocate for those who suffer from them. Trina enjoys starting each day, knowing she will help people have a better quality of life.
