As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Wellness Resource Center to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Wellness Resource Center.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Options for telehealth visitation are continuously evaluated so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Our Location in Boca Raton, FL

Wellness Resource Center’s clinical offices are just minutes from the ocean. Our community housing is sequestered in a quiet and discreet neighborhood that is easily accessible from major roads such as I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. Our residences include a pool and common spaces for clients to relax when they are not in individual and group therapy. Boca Raton is situated between two major airports, Palm Beach International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, making transportation to our center easy.

South Florida is widely considered to be the recovery capital of America. Palm Beach County is home to more 12-step fellowship meetings and clubhouses than any other area in the United States. Wellness Resource Center has been a pillar in the vibrant recovery community of South Florida for over two decades, and many of our alumni choose to remain in the South Florida area for continued care, such as outpatient rehab or sober living. For those clients of Wellness Resource Center who opt to participate in aftercare in the Boca Raton region, this area houses a tremendous number of addiction professionals who work closely with Wellness Resource Center, including psychotherapists, addiction psychiatrists, case managers, recovery coaches, peer recovery support specialists, and more. The clinical team at Wellness Resource Center can refer graduating clients to any necessary addiction professionals, in addition to our inclusive aftercare services.

Benefits of Dual Diagnosis Rehab in Boca Raton, FL

Boca Raton and the surrounding areas offer a number of attractive qualities, including warm weather year-round and several nearby beaches that are easily accessible. For our clients completing the step-down treatment continuum, the bustling economy of South Florida provides many job opportunities, so that our Phase II clients can obtain employment conducive to their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. As part of the continuing care planning we provide for every client, Wellness Resource Center works closely with several gender-specific, FARR-accredited recovery residences in the Palm Beach area, and can make recommendations to our clients searching for transitional living after treatment.

As part of our substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment curriculum, we encourage our clients to go on therapeutic passes with sober supports and alumni of Wellness Resource Center. On these passes, clients are encouraged to partake in recovery activities, such as going to 12-step meetings, getting coffee with individuals in long-term recovery, playing beach volleyball, or visiting one of the many tropical wetland nature preserves in our area. Therapeutic passes allow our clients to practice life skills, such as building a sober support network while they are still receiving intensive therapy and residing with us in a safe and structured environment. Therapeutic passes also allow our clients to leverage the robust recovery community around them while they are in rehab in South Florida.

When clinically appropriate, Wellness Resource Center also encourages the families of our clients to come visit during our Family Weekends. Families who are unable to attend Family Weekend can also come to our center for scheduled family sessions and family passes with their loved ones. Activities families have done in the past include airboat rides in the Everglades, deep sea fishing in the Atlantic, and scuba dive trips.
