Helia Ibarra-Alos, M.D. is a psychiatrist residing in Florida who completed her general psychiatry residency training at the University of Miami/Miller school of medicine in Miami, Florida, where she also completed a fellowship in Geriatric psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico and New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. Dr. Ibarra is triple board certified in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and addiction medicine and has been in practice for about 18 years.
Dr. Ibarra has had experience working in inpatient, addiction, and outpatient settings, allowing her to expand her knowledge, vision, and understanding of the importance of mental health. She currently holds the position as a medical director at Wellness Resource Center located in Boca Raton, FL, in addition to providing outpatient tele-psychiatric services and inpatient consultation-liaison services local hospital.
