Khelsea Walker, MS, MHC, LPC

Chief Executive Officer

Khelsea Walker is an executive CEO with over eight years of experience driving organizational impact in behavioral health. As a strategic partner for behavioral health, she blends her passion for social impact with sound business practices to create dynamic organizations. She has spearheaded several developments that carry the organization’s strategic vision by creating integrated systems, enhancing collaborative relationships, and helping individuals and communities create better lives. Walker seeks to be a catalyst for creating innovative programmatic and sound solutions in Behavioral Health organizations. As a true advocate of public and community service, Khelsea also serves on the board of CommunityConnect, Memphis, TN.

Before joining the Wellness Resource Center, Khelsea was the CEO of New Hope Ranch Detox & Residential Treatment Center and Community Connect, a nonprofit social organization dedicated to social reform and access to quality mental health care. She has also worked in a leadership capacity in various roles in TN and TX across multiple education sectors, prison reformation, and mental health. As CEO, she was responsible for the organization’s overall management, governance, strategy, and direction.

Khelsea holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of TN Chattanooga and a Master’s of Mental Health Professional Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University. She currently attends Freed Hardeman’s program for Healthcare and Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with her son, whom she adores dearly. They enjoy traveling and learning new sciences together, along with their pet bird, “Ms. Bubbles.” Walker’s hobbies include traveling, meditating, learning exciting historical facts, and playing Chess.
